Cerita Ayesha dan adiknya
But we just noticed, sometimes she is feeling sensitive too. Like when we asked her to slow down her loud voice when talking while Muhammad is sleeping, she will pull a sour face. Or when I scolded her to be quick to get ready for school when she was obsessed with watching tv while I need to soothe a crying baby, she will shed some tears from her eyes. I know, she felt left out and jealous of the baby getting all the attention. Luckily we were aware of this, so we tried as much as possible to ease the transition on her because this is something a child is confuse to understand on its own. We has talked to her on why the baby needs comes first, that he is small and need people to take care of him while she is already a big kakak now, so she can do most of the things herself. Nevertheless, I still do manage Ayesha like I did before such as bathing her, pakaikan baju, bedakkan, sikatkan rambut, suapkan makan, hantar naik van...and the likes, juggling with little Muhammad on the other arm. Because I don't want her to think that I love her less now that there is a new baby in the family. I kept telling that to her too. I need both of them in my life. Though sometimes she looks like she understands it while at other times she continues feeling insecure, fragile and rebellious, we must remember that this is a big change in her life and she needs time to adjust to it.
We just pray that she will overcome this phase of her life and Allah gave us patience and wisdom to handle her antics wisely.
